On Thursday, 17 April 2025, shares of Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd (WRTL) were trading 11% higher at ₹1,137 around 9:30 AM. The stock opened strong at ₹1,090 compared to the previous close of ₹1,023.90. During early trade, it touched a high of ₹1,170 and a low of ₹1,075. The strong rally came after the company announced excellent Q4 results.
Q4 Net Profit Jumps 83% YoY to ₹94 Crore
Waaree Renewable reported a huge jump of 82.73% in its consolidated net profit for the March quarter. The profit stood at ₹93.76 crore in Q4FY25, compared to ₹51.31 crore in Q4FY24. This strong growth shows the company’s good performance and improving business.
Revenue Grows 74% YoY in Q4
The company’s revenue from operations increased to ₹476 crore, up from ₹273 crore in the same quarter last year. That’s a growth of 74% year-on-year (YoY).
Its EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation) also increased to ₹126 crore from ₹75 crore – a rise of 68% YoY.
Annual Revenue Crosses ₹1,500 Crore
For the full financial year FY25, Waaree Renewable achieved a total revenue of ₹1,597.75 crore, which is an 82.29% jump from ₹876.50 crore in FY24. The company said this growth is much higher than the overall solar sector growth in India.
Manmohan Sharma, CFO of WRTL, said, “This performance shows our strong business model, execution power, and deep understanding of the renewable energy field.”
New Appointments Approved by Board
The company also made some important leadership changes:
- Sudhir Arya was appointed as Additional (Non-Executive, Independent) Director from April 16, 2025.
- Sunil Rathi was made Executive Director from Non-Executive Director, also effective April 16.
- Manmohan Sharma officially took charge as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) from April 16, 2025.
